Hello everyone.

I received my biometrics letter and I have 21 days to get it done.
I’m currently in Canada as a visitor and since i’ve applied out land I can’t get it done here.
I’m from Italy and I can’t leave Canada at the moment because of my pregnancy but my husband can drive to USA and we would like to know if I can get it done there.

It says I can if i’m staying legally there.
Well, I don’t need a visa to travel to the USA.
Do you think they might deny my entry for any other reason?
Anyone has been thru the same experience?

Provided she gets admitted to the United States she could give biometrics there. US Customs and Border Patrol may be concerned about birth tourism.

People who believe that jus solis citizenship is more valuable. As a visitor to Canada, she isn't necessarily eligible for health care here, either.

This is the risk of applying outland and then moving to Canada.

Well. I actually have MSP in Canada. While your waiting for your PR here being married to a Canadian citizen you can have it after two months by proving you paid for the sponsorship and that it has been accepted. ( just to be clear and not give wrong information in the future)

Anyway thanks for the replies, even if i’m still concerned what the border might say.

Soooo true. I would never dare to give birth there. Even if my water breaks i will do it in the car while driving back ( if that might happen) haha
