My application arrived today. I’m one happy man! :D

I was thinking of waiting till the 26th anyway. If it’s not released from customs by that date then I’ve very little hope of it getting delivered anytime this year with the backlog that’s built up.

Well, mines still sat in Customs after 2 weeks... If anyone's thinking of sending via Royal Mail International tracked and signed, don't! I'm starting to think my application will fall into December, if it ever gets there :mad:

I think I'm spending 99% of my free time chasing my documents. I've got Canada Post telling me it's in transit to Sydney, and Royal Mail basically calling them liars and that it's showing as being in Custom's still... All on a supposedly fully trackable service... yet it's not tracking :mad...

I’m currently arguing with Canada Post with regards to tracking with Royal Mail International tracked and signed. Royal Mail state they use Canada Post as a delivery partner and offer full tracking but Canada Post are saying that’s not the case. Nonetheless, it’s in Montreal being sorted so...

It seems like the Canada post strikes are causing backlogs at customs. Documents are usually much quicker to clear from what I’ve read online, so fingers crossed.

I sent my application via Royal Mail International tracked and signed on the 5th and it’s been sat at the “Your item is now leaving the UK” stage since the 6th. I’ve spoken to RM and they’re saying it’s in Canada but hasn’t cleared customs yet. Anyone else in the same boat?
