    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2024

Just select withdraw...from my understanding, if they keep processing and you're deemed ineligible to sponsor, the application is going to get denied anyway so it doesn't really make sense to continue.

You don't need a death certificate for anyone. You just need to provide the date of death and location (e.g. 01/03/1996 - Kingston, Jamaica). If you don't know what it is exactly then you can just the location of where they died and provide a letter of explanation saying that you do not know the...

Hmm you should be allowed to have gaps for education. Are you sure that's not for the personal history? I know in personal history when that's the cause you'd put [Time in high school] -> [Unemployed/Employed periods] -> [Time in university]

if you follow the trackers, most PGP applicants aren't receiving their AOR until at least a couple months after they've applied. Just wait it out for now. I wouldn't expect you to hear back anything until August at the earliest

In a case like this, easiest thing to do would be just put it in both sections (I know this contradicts what I said earlier lol). It honestly won't hurt to do that. Remember, in these applications, too much information is normally better than not enough. That should cover all your bases. For me...

No....personal history is more about where you lived and your employment status (unemployed, employed, in school). Any travels go in the travel history form even if it was for a longer period of time (my parents visited canada for 7 months - still put that in the travel history section). They...

Yes...it's in the instructions to put the year as 1900 (I had to put 1900/01/02 - i.e. January 2nd, 1900, in order forit validate. And then add a letter of explanation.

yes...better you let them know rather than they find out at some point in the application process. Having a baby increases the amount of family members that you need to support and could potentially render you ineligible to sponsor if your income no longer meets the threshold.

Highly doubt it's a big deal if they provide a specific section for the actual document. As long as the document exists, it should be good.

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2024

There's a specific section in one of the forms that asks if the prinicipal/dependant applicants were resident in another country for more than 6 months. It has to go in there..don't remember where. You put the length of her stay there and her status is a visitor. That entire stay (not just the...

Main advantage is the dual income (if both spouses work) as meeting the financial threshold to be able to sponsor your parents would be your main blocker

I actually have a question. I am sponsoring my parents - together we own property in Nova Scotia (purchased in 2016). I currently maintain this property and they stay there when they visit. They plan to live there full time once they receive their PR (stated in the application). I now live in...

I would just upload in both sections to be on the safe side. No harm in doing that. That's what I would do. I had a similar question.

Yeah..that's basically what I did. Annoyed because I don't even remember what the interest to sponsor application looked like. And yes, you can only link the PGP application

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2024

I would say..the longer you've been waiting, the higher your chances of being selected. They haven't taken any new interest to sponsor applications since 2020 so it's not like the pool size is increasing.

I received my letter last week, the problem I'm having is that I don't have access to my account anymore. The GCKey was revoked (I guess because I haven't logged in in two years). I've created a new account but I'm not sure if/how I can link my interest to sponsor application. I just want to...

Super Visa processing timeline from Visa Exempt Countries

Hi folks, just trying to get an idea of timelines from Visa Exempt countries. Most of what I've been seeing has been for people from India/Pakistan and other countries that requires visas. Also, my parents are applying from Bermuda. Do they need to do a medical? According to this they don't...
