Interesting news for those of us in Quebec. I just spoke to the RAMQ. As of this Monday (2nd May) they have introduced a new policy whereby you can qualify for RAMQ coverage with a CSQ, OWP AND a full time job. You do not need AIP anymore to qualify for RAMQ.

Good news! I'm a Oct 2nd applicant. I just got off the phone with the CIC. My OWP was approved yesterday and I should be receiving it sometime next week :D

More good news! I spoke to an agent this morning who said there is a note on my file that my OWP is in progress. The agent said I should receive my OWP in the next week or 2 :)

My application was received by CIC on October 2nd. I haven't received AOR or my OWP yet. I will be calling CIC first thing in the morning. Wish me luck!

Thanks Ponga! I spoke to 2 different people at the CIC call centre and they both said that they needed to have received the police certificates within 3 months of them being issued. I have applied for a new FBI check and Australian police check. Are you able to answer my other questions?
