Hello everyone. I need some advice about our application. Im sponsoring my husband. We sent our application on Jan. 22 2016. We received AOR on March 2016. We our still waiting for my husband's OWP. His previous WP expires Feb. 28, 2016. He is on implied status right now. Im wondering if we need to apply for restoration of status? ( implied status is good for only for 3 months right?)

Also, is it really hard to call CIC? I tried lots of time to call them to inquire about the OWP but its always busy. Can i try now to send them an email about my inquiry??

About calling them, I had the same problem so I sent them and email like about one and half month ago and they responded back for my OWP saying they have received my file and is under process..

Interesting news for those of us in Quebec. I just spoke to the RAMQ. As of this Monday (2nd May) they have introduced a new policy whereby you can qualify for RAMQ coverage with a CSQ, OWP AND a full time job. You do not need AIP anymore to qualify for RAMQ.

I received DM on April 14th 2016. I still haven't heard from Etobicoke immigration office regarding Landing. Should I be worried? Is there a number that I can call to find out about the landing appointment?

According tot he spreadsheet, it takes an avergae of 27 days from DM to landing. Hoping you receive the appointment invitation soon.

Hello all... I am a January 06, 2015 applicant and received my work permit 2 days ago which was issued on April 25, 2016.. I haven't received my AOR as yet.. My husband is sponsoring me so will get the AOR in his email or I will get in my email? Also, can I get myself in the spreadsheet too?

My application reached CPC-M on 04/29/2016. I noticed thay many applicnats have got their medical requests within 3/4 months of applying. It is this fast or some special cases?

I have not sent my medicals along with the applications, was thinking if I should be taking the mediclas proactively?

My wife got her DM on March 9 and heard back from CIC Etobicoke on April 14 ( 35 dasy after DM). They are a really busy Office. Don't worry, its coming.

Hi there.. I applied on January 06, 2016 and got my OWP 2 days ago.. It was issued on April 25, 2016.. So just wait I guess.. YOur must be on the way.. Where did you received you AOR? On your email or on your husband's? My husband is sponsoring me but I havent recived any AOR on my email as yet..

I basically filled out "IRCC Web Form" on CIC.. Just type "IRCC Web Form CIC" on google and click on the 1st link.. Once you are on the website, click where it says "Tell us more" and fill in the info. For some reason, I cant post that link for you here.. Its not letting me to post link in here.
