Hi there, do you recall how long the landing visa is valid ? I *think* till medicals are valid (1 year from date the medicals were done). Trying to figure out how long do parents have to land, in the worst case. Not sure if the COPR mentions a deadline.
Thanks!
1) Passport office is better. I've read of cases where PCC from local police station was rejected.
2) No, I don't think there is anyway to send it directly. When IRCC requests it, you would either have to upload it to MyCIC (GCKEY) or email it to them, depending on the what the instructions...
FYI, in case anyone is interested ... I was able to get a 30 day extension on PPR from CPC-Ottawa by simply emailing them. Sent an email last night, got extension this morning. So total I have 60 days to submit the passports.
Got PPR tonight. Has anyone managed to extend the 30-day deadline to submit the passports ? My dad is on a business trip and I'm not sure yet when he'll return. Thanks
Educated guess: the day you sign your application, photos should not be older than 6 months. Worst case, the day the application is received.
When they open the application is out of your control, so that cannot be the reference, IMO.
AFAIK, IRCC does not have access to entry/exit records that US maintains. They have to be requested by the applicant under FOIA.
How to order USA entry/exit records (FOIA) ? (for everyone)
1- go to this link: https://foiaonline.regulations.gov/foia/action/public/request/publicPreCreate

If you already sent a filled and signed representative form with your application, you do not need to send it again.
That AOR email is generic, and has the same text for everyone. I have the same thing. I only submitted the form once with the application package, and have been receiving all...
My parent's status changed to "Medicals Passed" directly within 1-2 weeks after the doctor uploaded the (e-medical) report to IRCC. There was no interim "medicals received" update.
To me, it sounds like you didn't get selected. The lottery system has been abolished for 2019, even though there is still a webform to fill, but first-come-first-serve. Details haven't been released by IRCC yet. Good luck
Well, getting an RPRF request doesn't mean they won't request for more documents later. Several people received medical request first, and then PCC request a few days later.
I received RPRF, medical, PCC all at once, however they haven't asked for supplementary travel information yet.
All information is in the instruction guide, which can be found here:

Quoting the guide,
Have you read the instruction guide and/or document checklist ? None of those things are needed to apply for Canadian Citizenship.
However, in the off-chance (low probability) that IRCC sends a Residence Questionnaire or Quality Assurance Exercise, then you may need all kinds of evidence to...
