I am thinking of writing an email to the attention of the officer assigned to my file. The due date of my application was May 10, 2013(this was also a due date for me to submit the RPRF/personal history)...and im not sure about re-applying for the GCMS...im just gonna flood them with the emails...

Yea! thats what i thought too. The notes were generated on june 25 and i see an officer updated most of the stuff on june 20 and my ecas went in process on june 28...I also see two emails sent to me in the notes section, One for RPRF/Personal History and the other for RPRF reminder...

All I can say is that I wish i would have applied late nov or jan, I would have been landed by now..

No! I think the ecas gets in process once we pass the eligibility and that our file finally gets assigned to an officer(final officer) who then starts the security checks or review all the checks. No wonder why it takes around 2 months or 3 in some cases from In process to PPR.

Hi Arale! If you are already in Canada, then probably they are waiting on your medical extension from the Health department. Its possible that they are dont with the security/background checks and are just waiting on the medical extension. If you had to do the medical over again, you would have...

Its better just to fax them; they are gonna get confused with two means of communication from you for the same question..So, its better to just keep it simple and straight forward for them...
