Yeah there is no rhyme or reason to how they process things. It could all be dependent on the VO that your file is at, or that they just randomly pick applications up.

Update: did my Oath on March 28, tracker set to close on March 30, certificate received April 4. For a really slow process, this last part has gone really quick. BC Victoria applicant.

Online tracker status officially updated to closed on march 30 (ceremony on march 28). Is it 2-4 weeks from when the application was closed, or does that mean they've likely printed the certificate already?

Ceremony done yesterday. Fairly underwhelming experience after all the waiting to get there. Only took 1 hour, very formal and administrative, and then boom, done. Can't wait to finally be done with this process! Almost there. Hope its over for everyone else soon also!

Quick question - are all the timelines above based on selecting the standard processing time? Or does this also apply to the expedited process where you can pay an extra $50? Just wondering if you are a sucker for paying extra because they all take over a month anyway, or whether its worth...

Everyone is different. mine took 3 months.

Where did you get that email address from? The only email addresses I have received from IRCC are dnvanbcistests@cic.gc.ca (which was my test invite) and Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca (my AOR). Wondering if either of those will work or if I should use the ones posted here.

I've been waiting since December. Others who got DM after me at the same visa office have already had their oath. No rhyme or reason.

Congrats all. Still waiting on my end. DM in December 2021, test completed September 2021, app submitted in August 2020. Anyone else in a similar boat? I'm seeing so many oath ceremonies for apps that have a much quicker timeline than mine.

thinking more along the lines of ive been waiting long enough while others are getting their oath, and the last thing i want to do is say to IRCC I cant attend the oath because i'll be in the middle of dealing with a birth. That'll put me right at the bottom of the pile and i'll be looking at...

Pleased you have it, but the fact that IRCC are prioritizing applications submitted in late 2021 over applications submitted from 2019 to 2020 is ridiculous. So unequitable. I've been sitting at DM since December last year. In the time it has taken since they made a decision on my file...
