Waiting for Portal email since November 21. Final decision says "In progress", but Eligibility is yet to be started. COPR number is in tracker with expiry date of Oct 29th 2024.

Am a PNP Non-EE applicant. Once COPR is generated I think both processes follow similar timelines, but I am not 100% sure on this.

Called IRCC today to understand why I havent got Portal 1 email yet (my Final decision and COPR updated in tracker on Nov 21st, 2023) and agent said that it could take weeks or even a month so not to worry. My PVO is Nova Scotia and SVO is Etobicoke.

The tracker is here : https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login. However you can only login if you have received an AOR and the EP number for your application. Check with your rep if they can give you the EP number. You need other things like passport details/personal details etc then...

The response you got from IRCC. Was it through the phone call you made or did they respond back on your email (the reply to the Portal 1 email) ? Thx !

I think the best option is to reply back to Portal 1 email if received in the next few days informing IRCC about the travel plan and NOT confirming the presence in Canada. Better to confirm that you are present in Canada after returning from travel and you are sure you will be in Canada for next...

In a similar situation. I have COPR number updated on Tracker but not received Portal 1 mail yet. I have to travel out of Canada from Dec 9th to Jan 9th and have valid TRV/WP. Need advise whether just receiving COPR number in tracker and Portal 1 does not mean that one has become PR status...

Congrats !! Does you Final decision say that all checks are completed ? I have a ghost update as well on Final decision on Nov 21st but background check/eligibility is all showing in progress in gckey and tracker. What is RFV ?

Quick answer is NO. But there are people on this thread who are trying through the regular process. I hope they can answer this question....

Not been in this situation but I suggest you send a webform before the deadline explaining your situation and asking for more time. After all it is indeed a very genuine case.

Further astonishing that COPR is also received for the OP. Thats fast, incredibly fast. I too have AOR of June 6th, but I did get PAL on Oct 31st for OINP Masters. MP is also passed now, but no ADR or COPR or anything further after that.
