If it CEC I dont think it's matter that are you working permanent, indeterminate or contract. As long as you have 1 year of full timr work exp (52 weeks) then I dont see any problem there, unless its LMIA supported job...!!

Sorry to hear this, and I think they calculate the work experience gained during the authorised work permit time, as it says they wont count any experience gained during your study time...!! I think you may have gained that additional 4 months of experience by now and that may make you eligible...
