Like ASBA said, you will get the tracking number from ADVO if you tell them you haven't gotten the passport and it's urgent. In a scenario with no tracking number, I wonder if name and phone number would suffice? I don't know. I'm never using aramex for personal use, that much is clear.

Congratulations!!! So glad you got the passport back! Now, about what that Aramex guy said, it's a load of crap! It was their responsibility to call!! Aramex KSA has proven itself to be completely useless. But Alhumdulillah, it's a matter of the past and is now time to focus on better things...

I'm praying that you hear good news tomorrow, inshaAllah. I would suggest that if possible, don't rely on Aramex to deliver the passport to your door. When they call you, just tell them to give you the tracking number and you will come and pick it up from the branch. Surprised at ADVO though...

I agree with bonty, if the intent is to leave for good, best do it formally. I know for Saudi, when fathers renew their iqama, they have to send iqamas for all family members under his sponsorship for them to be renewed. It is a complicated scenario if one member is not in country.

That was not the case for me, ADVO didn't send me any tracking number on my or my wife's number. The only tracking number that I received was today after I got a call from Aramex telling me that they had a package for me. I don't know if calling ADVO will help, but in this case, what's the harm...

You should always send original translated documents. Especially for Iqama and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). I hope the Consulate guided you well and you have everything sorted out. I am sorry I didn't reply last night, but I'm sure you know by now that they are only open between 9:00 am...
