I did. My wife's transcripts were sent on 15 Dec 20 and still hasn't received the ECA. My transcripts were sent on 19 Jan 21, so that is another month or two away.

Looks like they are wrapping up October reports. I should get my wife's ECA in about 1.5 months from now! It's really a long wait and they must consider speeding up their process by hiring temporary staff.

I suggest doing all listening tests from IELTS cambridge books 10-15 (24 tests in total) I got CLB10 in my first attempt (including 9 in listening)

CEC alone cannot help Canada recover from COVID. They will have to call in additional skilled migrants to support their economic output.

They are currently processing October applications. Remember, the date on which transcripts are received is considered as the application date. I suggest waiting for a month.

I am planning to do exactly the same. I have ECA from WES for degree + diploma and waiting for MBA ECA from CES. I don't think there's going to be any problem in this. I have only sent MBA credentials to CES as bachelors is not required.

You can try CES if u want. CES most likely will give Masters for MBA (regular) But like others mentioned, it will take 5-6 months after electronic transcripts are delivered to them FYI, I am waiting for my ECA as well from CES for my MBA. Expecting result in June.

CES asks for additional $200 per credential. It can't be that the university sent the docs by accident and CES evaluated it.

I HIGHLY doubt this. He did not give his bachelor docs so essentially CES does not even know if his bachelor degree was even from a recognized university. CES won't assume this stuff. He will have to get bachelors evaluated separately.

Possibly others can confirm as well. But in my understanding, it was evaluated as bachelor/diploma and NOT masters, which means that you would need to get your actual bachelors evaluated as well (from WES) I'm finding it weird that outcome one is "4 year" bachelors when it was just 2 years.

No idea about it. When you get ITA, you anyway have to upload the ECA report, if they need to physically verify it, they should contact you directly. I have not read anywhere that CES report is used differently from WES report based on my knowledge through YouTube videos

Looks like I am here for the long haul. My university had sent transcripts electronically in late December. Step 1 completed yesterday for me. If they are processing September 2020 applications, my turn will be in April-May 2021

No need to physically mail. All transcripts can be sent electronically. Why are you not using WES though? They are faster than CES.

Absolutely. You will get a pdf copy by email which is all you need.
