Spouse sponsorship returned IMM 5406 incomplete?

Was her father's death certificate required per the instructions for the form?

Traveling While Waiting for Spousal Sponsorship

What is the `this' that you are referring to? By submitting an Inland application, you are expected to remain in Canada during the process. Many applicants (though not all) have no problems if they leave for a short trip*, but that is never guaranteed. Each time a foreign national presents...

    Company sponsorship/help?

You should probably remove the word `move to B.C. soon' from your plan, since that may not be realistic. You and your wife may be able to `visit' Canada and while here try to start the process of becoming a PR (if you find the right path), but...you cannot actually move until you become a PR or...

AIP letter, Inland Spousal Sponsorship Canada , Ramq

Are you certain of this? It looks an awful lot like that AIP letter, since it states that the OP meets the eligibility requirements. If it was merely AoR, it would not have that verbiage.

PR card renewal status Rejection - You have not provided us with a valid Primary Identity Document- please review Guide IMM5445

Yes. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5445-applying-permanent-resident-card-card-first-application-replacement-renewal-change-gender-identifier.html You must submit these documents: . . . A copy of one of the...

    Death of a family member.

As mentioned, you do not need a valid PR Card to exit Canada. If you do not receive your renewed card (or a PRTD) you can re-enter Canada at a land PoE since a valid PR Card is only required if returning via a commercial carrier (not required for a U.S. citizen with a valid passport). You could...

Any luck to get my work extended with a pending charges

Agreed, especially since a dangerous driving charge that leads to a conviction would [apparently] make the OP inadmissible.

Several points of confusion with online renewal process

No special permission needed, as shown here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/new-immigrants/pr-card/how-to-apply.html `You can apply on paper if you can’t apply online and need accommodations, including for accessibility.' The `accommodation' is that you are...

Out of status with AIP, but unable to apply for OWP

I never proclaimed that I did not understand what you were trying to explain. I get it; you don't know what the problem is. Judging from the image that you've posted, here's one possible issue: On the second line it asks `what is your current immigration status in Canada?'. I am assuming that...

Out of status with AIP, but unable to apply for OWP

Have you read trough this thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/out-of-status-and-inland-sponsorship-application.830987/

Out of status with AIP, but unable to apply for OWP

The Spousal Sponsorship, in and of itself, allows the OP's wife to apply without status after reaching the AIP stage. No idea why they're having difficulty.

Can I travel outside of Canada if my inland spousal sponsorship is in process?

I assume you mean that the Inland sponsorship applicant must continue to `live' or `reside' with their sponsor. The applicant can leave Canada (for a short trip) without having their sponsor with them...but that would amplify the risk of being allowed to re-enter Canada, IMHO.

Can I travel outside of Canada if my inland spousal sponsorship is in process?

You posted this question in a thread discussing an Inland applicant. Inland applications are processed in Canada.

    PR Renwal and travel history

I would think not. ALL exits from Canada and subsequent entries must be disclosed. You should contact IRCC to find out how to handle this, since it appears to be [yet another] glitch.

Cross border commuter - PR Card Renewal

Change `upsetting' to `comical'. ;) Oh...and I do like Daft Punk, if that matters. LOL! One more important point (at least from my side of the screen) is that as mine was the second reply to the OP's post, there's really no way that anyone with an I.Q > 3.14... would have `misunderstood', nor...

Cross border commuter - PR Card Renewal

Oh FFS! Did you miss the all important: ...each of those days spent in the U.S. still counts as a full day in Canada towards the Residency Obligation. The OP stated, this: I go to work in the US on a daily basis and return home in Canada.

Cross border commuter - PR Card Renewal

The good news is that each of those days spent in the U.S. still counts as a full day in Canada towards the Residency Obligation. I echo the log book suggestion.

Seeking guidance on PR status and resident obligations

Ok... The OP states that their valid PR Card expires in August of 2027, meaning that it was issued in August of 2022. The exact date is unknown, so...IF the OP was diagnosed after the card was printed, they would in fact have had PR status at that time. If, on the other hand, the OP did NOT...

Seeking guidance on PR status and resident obligations

What about this part of the OP's post: In May 2022, I completed my soft landing in Canada and then returned to my country of residence to begin treatment. Sounds like are assuming that is the case, since the OP never stated the actual date of their diagnosis or the day they actually landed as...

Seeking guidance on PR status and resident obligations

If YOU read the OP's original post, you should see that you are mistaken: My cancer diagnosis occurred after I was granted PR, and I chose to stay in my current country for treatment rather than relocate to Canada and rely on the healthcare system there.
