TWP Change in condition : which office??

Are you sure this is possible, from what's written on the CIC website, only trv-exempt citizens can apply for work permits at a port of entry. Otherwise, why would anybody wanna wait 30 days to renew his work permit, when he can just go at the borders an do it on the same day?

Few questions before i start my immigration process

Look, i'm not sure what u were doing exactly, but if u believe u'd get a job in canada as SOMETHING_RELATED_TO_IT manager, then u should be ok. As for applying under the regular process (now called fsw2 i guess), the processing time depends where you apply. If u're in the US, it won't be long...

Few questions before i start my immigration process

Well, the answer to that question is simply the answer to this "Once u're in Canada, do you think you have a good chance of getting an offer under that NOC?" .. If ur CV convinces an employer that u're a good fit for a "managerial post", it'll more likely convince the CIC too. Here's a couple of...

How to Apply for Immigration while on Work Permit?

Well, an immigration visa (just like any other visa) has to be issued by a visa office, which is typically a consulate or an embassy to. That's why it has to be outside Canada. I'm not sure about Alberta, but it's different if u applied the federal process or under the PNP process. I think u...

Few questions before i start my immigration process

Having a managerial experience is one thing, and having the 21 points of experience is another thing. Example: You've worked for an IT department of a well known company in your country since your graduation, u first were a junior software engineer, then you became a senior software engineer...

Few questions before i start my immigration process

Yeah, they might be suspicious about that(which is in fact suspicious). I was suggesting having a job offer with the same NOC(managerial position), to validate that you do qualify for fsw1. Having the TEF might give u extra points, but if you have zillion points and you're not among the 38...

Well when it comes to changing the mailing address some time we don't have the choice but to do it. Besides it's stated on the buffalo website that we shouldn't contact them during the first 20 weeks EXCEPT when changing the mailing address, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Hi shahi, I know there are a lot of folks here in Quebec who received the CSQ in less than 5 months, and sometimes as fast as 3 months only. There's the preliminary evaluation that the MICC does I guess, where it's determined first if the adaptability points are needed to acquire the CSQ, and...

Thanks man. On a side note, is there anyway I can change the mailing address before receiving the AOR (and the file no.) ?
