Awww, thanks. I appreciate that. Yeah, this forum has become kind of like an addiction for me and I probably spend way too much time on it, lol.

It doesn't have anything about the relationship or the requested interview? Look at the very last page, there'll be a paragraph in bold. What's the date they were generated?

Technically, no, living together for 12 consecutive months isn't enough to prove a genuine common-law relationship, just like sending in a marriage certificate isn't enough to prove a genuine marital relationship. The common-law requirements are conjugal relationship + 12 months living together...

Yeah but it's not Mississauga's job to examine anything pertaining to the PR portion of the file, i.e. the portion relating to the principal applicant and secondary applicant/s, if they exist. That's for Sydney to do.

There's no relationship between which visa office will be responsible for processing the PR portion of the file and how soon the Case Processing Centre begins working on the sponsorship portion.

It's quite possible that people who would have sent their packets during any other month delayed filing their applications until the next month, January, because they were so busy with holidays during December, thus the higher number of applications in January. Since CPC-M has to both review...

Question 8 of Application to Sponsor and Undertaking asks you to, "Enter the date (year, month, day) you were married or you entered into your current common-law relationship." Note that this is actually the date your status officially changed from being single to common-law, not the date you...

Glad to help. How long before you filed in October did you have your appointment with the DMP? Best to have the date on that green form be as close to the date you sent off your application as possible.

You will receive landing docs after you receive PPR. You will receive PPR after the immigration officer looking at your file makes a full assessment of your medical admissibility, your criminal admissibility, your security admissibility, the genuineness of your relationship, the admissibility of...

If you included your email in the application, you may get an AOR, but not everyone does. Use that file number to log into e-cas with your wife's name. That way, you should be able to see both parts of the application process- the sponsorship approval at CPC-M and your assessment as a PR...

Every case is different. Order GCMS notes and try contacting Ottawa Regional Medical Centre, although I personally did not have luck with the second bit. Buffalo asks for the medicals from Ottawa when it's ready.

You have the file number, so log into e-cas, or preferably, have e-cas tracker try to log you in. There's no point in re-calling the Call Centre as they cannot tell you anything about your file beyond what is in e-cas after it gets to the VO.

Thanks missmini, you are too sweet. I don't know why people claim it doesn't say March 7 on the page though- it's both in bold before the numbers and at the very bottom of the page. I've never seen the Francophone version of the page.
