Once I found an agent who was really helpful and she also sent a follow up to the office because I’m over the 8 months, but it’s been almost a month now and nothing changed :(

I think some emails reach the right person and that can help speed up the application. Other emails instead get lost somewhere in the IRCC system or ignored. I’m glad in this case it worked in your favour!

Yes, Mississauga office. I think it is the worst office nowadays for citizenship applications. I know a few people who have been left in the dark for months.

I have applied well after you, but I’ve also been waiting for oath for 6 months. LPP completed on November 29, 2023. I get the same generic response everytime and I don’t know what to think anymore. Have you requested GCMS notes?

My notes look pretty straightforward, but under “Clearances - Security” there is a blank section (meaning that part has been redacted) and I also have the s.(15)1 on top of the page. Though all my assessments are completed. Shouldn’t BG or Prohibitions be still pending if they’re still doing...
