Usually a GU is a good thing because it means at least someone looked and updated your file. Not all GU brings to an actual update, but I hope it will in your case. Based on what IRCC told me, my GU from June 25 was because on June 21st my last verification step was completed by the agent.

From what I understand, you have missed some information when sending the webform. You need to include your full name, date of birth, UCI, and application number.

Yes, it now says on the top: Last Update: 25 June 2024. Though if I scroll down everything is the same. That’s why they call it Ghost Update. Usually it means something happened in your file (it could be as easy as the agent putting new notes on your file)

Well, at least today I got a GU! I was sick to see “29 November 2023” as last update date :D I’m not holding my breath this will bring to anything! Let’s see.

Still no movement on my application. IRCC had responded to my WEB form inquiry saying always the same thing that my application is in progress. I promised myself I will not reach out to IRCC again until the Fall (of course I hope I will get my Oath before then) and now I’m checking my tracker...

Same, I was Mississauga but had my interview in Scarborough. From the GCMS notes I got in April though, it seems that the application is still with Mississauga office.
