    Pick up time like @forw.jane mentioned. Be there earlier than the opening time in order to avoid the rush/queue (first come first served basis) You have to carry the payment receipt and a ID (e.g. driver's license, Canadian passport etc)

    You dont need SC for eVisa. Apply for eVisa online through this website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html. You do not need to deal with BLS for eVisa. Only in the case of Entry Visa (x) you will need to go through BLS

    Since you have a Canadian passport, apply for eVisa and traveling using that. eVisa can be issued quickly and you do not need to cancel your Indian passport for that. Apply for eVisa only you can get visa within 24 hr or less
