Scheduled for Citizenship oath did not received email then missed it and no missed ceremony email.

Well, first of all, congrats on becoming a Canadian citizen. I noticed that your testing office is the same as mine, as far as the email address is concerned. This is not strictly the Vancouver office. The "BCIS" part should refer to "BC itinerant services". I am located in Interior/Northern...

Passing on Citizenship for my PR child

Your minor child did not automatically become a citizen on the day you acquired Canadian citizenship. This is because, in order to pass on your citizenship, you need to have been a Canadian citizen at the time of your child's birth. Therefore, you need to apply for citizenship for him/her.

    October 2021 - Citizenship Applications

So, their email address can no longer reveal which is your specific processing office? This looks like a generic online test address.

    July 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

Finally, almost 5 months after my last status change, I just saw a status update in my citizenship tracker. Citizenship test in progress on April 11, 2022. Test period is April 15 to May 6. I have not received the test invitation email yet. I am in BC, and the last time I checked with an IRCC...

Agent told me my file is with "BC itinerant services". Is this a good thing?

That's very strange, that they would assign your file to 'BC itinerant services' considering that you are in Alberta.

    Citizenship processing time update

I hope they are not making this adjustment on the assumption that there won't be a general election until 2025 because of the Liberal-NDP deal.

Agent told me my file is with "BC itinerant services". Is this a good thing?

No, I have not received my test invite yet. No updates since November 2021. Where are you located?

    July 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

This is interesting. Your physical location is in Manitoba (based on info in your signature). Why would the Vancouver office be processing your application?

    July 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

It IS distressing have to wait so long without any updates. Long gone are the days when the processing of citizenship applications was concluded in 8 to 9 months on average.

    Country of Origin Police Certificate

Well, it's not as if I have a choice in this matter. IRCC's own instructions regarding Police Certificate from Singapore is that they will send a request letter after the applicant has submitted his/her application...

Should I withdraw my application and apply again from scratch?

Don't do it. I know this has been frustrating, but it would be too risky to withdraw the application and re-apply based on the few anecdotes that the newer submissions get processed faster.

    Country of Origin Police Certificate

Then why was the OP contacted IMMEDIATELY after AOR about his/her police certificate, same with this guy: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/received-request-for-police-certificate-post-citizenship-application-technically-not-needed.758083/ Whereas, I have...

    Country of Origin Police Certificate

I was going to create another thread for my own question, but I might as well ask it just here. My situation is somewhat similar to the OP's, having lived in another country for more than 183 days AFTER becoming a PR of Canada within the 4-year eligibility period. I knew from the get-go that I...

Urgent Processing - Citizenship Application (Lets meet here )

From his previous posts, it seems that he first submitted documents about parents being ill (requiring hims to travel urgently). After a few months of no response/movement, he submitted another request with a completed application form for a CSIS job that requires Canadian citizenship. He is not...
