Pleased to share that after what felt like forever, I have finally received an invite for the test. Its on Apr 16. To all those who are still waiting, your time will come soon.

Have you tried calling them? I have called a few times and was told same thing every time i.e. working on your security checks.

I'm in the same boat as you're. App received on May 28, acknowledgement on Aug 2nd and in process since Aug 16th. Nothing after that. I've called CIC a few times and was told they were doing background checks. Not sure how long more it will take but I hope its soon for all of us waiting.

no kidding. it would be nice to be over with this, hopefully soon.

FY - I called CIC the other day to inquire on my application status. I was told that the IRCC was working on getting my "clearance checks" and I should just hang tight and wait for the test invite. App delivered May 28th 2018, AOR Aug 2nd 2018 & in process since Aug 16 2018.

Guys, I have a question. IRCC received my application on May 25/18, sent the AOR on Aug 2nd & starting working on my app on Aug 16th 2018. I have not received anything since then. I am leaving Canada for two weeks starting next week. Do you think I should call IRCC to inquire about my status...

I agree. A friend of mine who applied in Apr this year is taking his oath tomorrow. He was told tomorrow's ceremony is the last for this year.
