I'd recommend you keep all the documents you submitted with your application with you. Just in case they ask to see anything. That's what I did when I entered on a work permit.

This is just an explanation of what "Final Decision" means. Doesn't necessarily mean they have reached a final decision!

Thanks, have decided not to apply now as the processing time is Pak is 20 ridiculous weeks. So absolutely no point, by then we are hoping PR has come thru. Such a simple thing to want to be with your spouse, it's a show of inhumanity that the process is so long and difficult.

I submitted my eAOR, the confirmation that my PR application has been received (6 October). I still have not received my R10. So they approved my BOWP with AOR.

Hi all, I applied for BOWP on 12 October 2016 (online within Canada) and I received approval last night (23 November). It doesn't state whether my TRV has been renewed though. Still waiting for the letter in the mail. If anyone has any questions, I hope I can help.

Hi forum, I have a quick question. My husband's application for SOWP got refused some time ago. I have recently got my work permit renewed and we have our PR application in process for about 7 weeks now. I wanted to know, if we apply for his SOWP again and it is refused again, will this hurt...

to the OP - By AOR do you mean eAOR, the document you receive immediately after the Application is submitted? Or do you mean R10? Little confused.

The medical they do is valid for one year. So as long as it has 6 months validity (at the time of submission of application), you can use it for any application.

So sorry hopeful :( But you know what, we are Muslims and we believe everything is for the best - good and bad. Have patience and believe this is for a good reason which you don't yet understand. At least (like me) you have your PR in progress. InshaAllah when the time is right it will happen...

Don't worry! Lots of people are getting positive outcomes. Each case is unique, so what happened with us will not necessarily happen to anyone else. You've been waiting a long time. You should submit a CSE if you haven't already. processing times have reduced. Good luck!
