Really if this the case than most of the applicant will be rejected.

what I observed, some officers in abbudhabi are really rude and stupid. They don't think and refuse the case with lil confusion but some are good. One of my friend got the document request (i.e photos and police certificate) but in my case they refused right away and mention the reason in GCMS note that I did not give police certificate and provided the repetitive photos.

No that's not the reason. many of my friends got the workpermits on the same Nadra issued certificates. You should apply for GCMS notes, those are helpful and mentions the actual reasons.

So does my husband have to sign a consent form since I am asking for the records on his behalf? (I am in Canada but he isn't).

Isn't it enough that married people want to be together?! Must have a tough heart to be the permitting officer!

I wish they could understand this sister they will give you workpermit after confirming that your husband will leave Canada once permit expires, they don't want foreigners to stay at Canada. A country who care about animal rights but that's how they treat people from different countries and its not one sided, unfortunately we belong to country where Fraud is very common and thatswhy it takes time for them to process our files.

Yes, agreed. They have a job to do. It's a difficult one but they have to do it. Alas, just like you, we will not concede.

Thank you Zimprincess, just sent the Islamabad CHC an email. I submitted an upfront medical but received an MR again. The Abu Dhabi CHC takes two weeks to get back to a CSE which is quite frustrating!

I think your case will be stronger next time with a renewed work permit. GCMS notes will provide you more insights though. The reasons provided for refusal definitely don't seem to add up.

Good luck for round 2, the 8 week processing time shall make it easier!

Don't worry! Lots of people are getting positive outcomes. Each case is unique, so what happened with us will not necessarily happen to anyone else. You've been waiting a long time. You should submit a CSE if you haven't already. processing times have reduced.
