The main things you want to include to prove intent to return to his home country would be evidence such as property ownership and assets (e.g. bank account).

    Spose Sponsorship after Sponsoring Parents

My husband had been out of Canada for close to 7 years when he sponsored me and it wasn't a problem. You'll need to show intent to return to Canada (job applications, looking for housing (or in your case of you've been renting out the house or something making arrangements to end whatever has...

Applied spousal sponsorship - Losing my job due to layoffs

Personally, I wouldn't be terribly worried about the impact on your sponsorship. When we applied my husband was finishing grad school and was job hunting and we didn't have any issues. We submitted a list of job applications, but that was more for the purposes of showing intent to return to...

Spousal Sponsorship - Sponsor is a Citizen Outside of Canada

We applied when my husband was finishing his PhD (in the US, my home country, where we were living together). Based on the timing you're stating I think you'll run into issues with showing intent to return to Canada. We had some pretty solid evidence: he was actively applying to MANY jobs in...

Spousal Sponsorship - Sponsor is a Citizen Outside of Canada

When do you plan on getting married? Before PhD? Partway through? Will your spouse live with you in the US? Just to clarify you are Canadian and she is from the Philippines? You must show intent to return to Canada when you get PR so you only really qualify to apply in the year before you...

2nd refusal, same reason but IRCC added additional reason even though there was no negative change in my financial situation.

Request for reconsideration via webform or otherwise file a judicial review via self representation. Im sure you will get the settlement offer. Your intent to return in quiet strong and show present your professional profile in detail. They might overlooked or misjudged.

Proof of sponsor's intention to return to Canada???

The typical case you refer to is not relevant to this class of case, citizens sponsoring while abroad - where intent to return is the issue. Read the comments carefully and in context. My comment 'not aware' referred to this type of app, not apps where sponsor is in Canada. Now, of course...

    Question regarding foreign spouse overstay.

Yes, you can even apply from abroad. You will - again - have to show intent to return to Canada. It's in the instructions.

    Question regarding foreign spouse overstay.

Short form, if you are a citizen, yes, if you are a PR - not really (only for visits). If you're a citizen, you'll need to show intent to return. It's in the instructions.

SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

If you are the citizen and you are returning to Canada, no, not at all. Moreover: you should update your address to Canada once you have arrived, and let them know (eg webform) that you have returned. This way the officer won't spend more time (hopefully) on the 'intent to return to Canada' stuff.

Sponsorship by Spouse---better to do it in Canada or from abroad?

Thanks for your detailed advice. When you refer to 'basic instructions' what are you referring to? Where do I find 'basic instructions?' I really don't want to sit around for 22 months hoping for the best. Moving their first and extending my stay seems a much better option. But no experience...

Sponsorship by Spouse---better to do it in Canada or from abroad?

If you do not need to work, then you could basically do a version of this. Read up the basic instructions. -It does save (likely anyway) time if you submit your spouse's app when she is residing in Canada - because she will not need to show intent to return to Canada. -You cannot 'move' to...

    SPONSOR WIFE OUTSIDE CANADA

I agree that all of these things would be better but some are, for obvious reasons (incl money), difficult or unrealistic for many to provide. So three main messages: -absolutely MUST take this seriously and do the best you can when applying to show intent to return. -but, the perfect is the...
