Yep, I studied in Australia for about a year back in 1995, went back home, then moved from the Philippines to the US - so I do know what it's like to move. My work visa is still valid here (until next year) but in the off-chance I don't get a renewal/extension I'm looking at other options now...

Are you so sure the cutoff scores won't go down on succeeding draws? You cannot come to that conclusion on the basis of just one draw. Wait and see how this new system plays out, if it doesn't get any better then by all means, assess other options. But you just can't write-off EE after only 1 draw.

Bhagya123 it depends on your situation. It could be you need one from where you currently reside, from your home country or even both - from the CIC site: You will need to get police certificates for you and each of your family members who are over 18. You must get one from each country or...

I had the same experience as you did. It seems they transitioned to a new system internally, hence the delay..

There are two other institutions that can handle the educational assessment, I advise you to contact them too and tell them your situation (links on this page: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp ). Best of luck..
