Why Canada .. Why Not Australia?

I just loved Canada after studied here for number years. That's all the reason I need. I can't compare to Australia as I have never been there.

Besides, Canada also have amazing natural beauty...

I'm from the Caribbean. Most of my family who don't live here are in New York. I also have family in Toronto so being in Toronto makes it much easier to see people. Plus it's just one 4-hour flight home. Australia is just too far away for me.

True, but i know Canadians who cant get a work permit in the states. Its easier for sure if you have a Canadian passport but these guys will do serious background checks on anyone applying to move there....unless you go through Mexico and hope for amnesty from Obama.....not a bad idea LOL

LOL. Non-existent how? I have only been here less than a year and have already suffered 2 incidents, one of them ending with someone pepper spraying me. So, non-existent my foot. Stop assuming something doesn't exist because you don't notice it. I think a better word would be 'probably less than Australia' rather than 'non-existent'. All the Australians I've met in Canada have been very friendly people, and we always end up having a good discussion about cricket so that's a plus.

Its a way simpler procedure. A friend of mine just got it at the border crossing / airport.

Thats awesome but the list of occupations is quite small and the States arent exactly in a boom economy right now.

But you are right in that it does offer some people a path to the US.....albeit a narrow and difficult one.

i think both canada and australia are the best countries to live in but after canada's new immigration system called express entry,it has become almost impossible to immigrate to canada without job offer.i am thinking to apply to australia as a skilled immigrant although my crs score under ee is over 400.

Are you so sure the cutoff scores won't go down on succeeding draws? You cannot come to that conclusion on the basis of just one draw.

Wait and see how this new system plays out, if it doesn't get any better then by all means, assess other options. But you just can't write-off EE after only 1 draw.
