They mentioned on the CIC website about this issue if you got the passport request and the border still closed you need to send them email visa webform telling them your situation. They will extend your visa or they will give solution about how to travel to canada. I think will not be a problem...

the instructions should be written in the PPR email about how to submit your passport. I beliver they mentioned an address to send your passport to.

you will get a good news soon, it depends on the visa office. Some people got PPR within few days after DM others after a month. I hope visa officer will be satisfied about your application and send you a PPR soon
