    they do HBA1c ie the levels in the RBC which is more precise to find out your diabetes . it will give them precise levels.

    I am diabetic and am also Metformin. I got my PR and landed in April. So in my opinion being diabetic is not a rejection criteria.

    Putting a small disclaimer after making a bold statement that does not let you off the hook. If you were not sure, then it would have been better to have done some minimal research before posting. We all make mistakes... It's how we deal with them that matters.

    I heard before that they can't refuse you due to medicals problems unless it would put a HUGE strain on our health care system.....diabetes and high blood pressure are not a huge strain.....don't worry everything will work out! I have lots of faith for you!

    We've seen cases here where a parent has been refused who has advanced diabetes (i.e. is on dialysis) and has significant kidney damage.
