Should I settle in Canada? Is it worth it?

What makes you think that every immigrant is not "financially well supported"?

Moving to Canada without work experience

It depends on which country your education was from. If it was from the U.S., you'll be ok. If it was from somewhere else, you may struggle.

    Child benefits for newcommers ?

The amount of CCB you receive is based on your previous year's income. If you have no income and are living off your savings, then you will certainly be entitled to the maximum amount. Just be truthful and you have nothing to fear.

Benefit of declaring vehicle as Goods to Follow

You should be fine, so long as the description you provided matches the car you are importing. Ideally you would have given the VIN number in the description, but even if you didn't, I think the CBSA officers will be quite understanding.

Benefit of declaring vehicle as Goods to Follow

If you declare it, you don't have to pay tax on it when you bring it into the country. If you don't declare it, you will have to pay tax. It's pretty straightforward.

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

Just so you know, CIC disagrees with you. The website clearly states that visitors, students and workers ALL have temporary resident status in Canada http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/index.asp

Applying for citizenship outside canada with the new law (C-6)

It's a bit premature to say. C6 is not a law, but a bill that is still being shaped. There are many amendments to the bill that are still being discussed and until those are finalized, you really won't know if you qualify for citizenship or not.

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

You really need to get your facts straight. If you look at the CIC website, the very first requirement listed to get a study permit is: - meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, including leaving Canada...

Inward Remittance to Canada from Abroad

There are no taxes on this transfer, so long as it is not "income".

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

Firstly, you need to go back and re-read my post. I did not use the refugee quota at all, and while it may be convenient for you to further your pointless argument, it isn't true. What I said is that immigration levels haven't dropped since the citizenship changes were introduced, and that is...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

Fine, we can resume this conversation next year and in the event that immigration levels are less than the quota, I will apologize. But given this hasn't happened to date, and application numbers are typically higher than PR visas awarded, I don't understand why you are pointlessly arguing.

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

Well, the standard immigration streams are at the same levels as last year, while others such as refugees has been increased: http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=1145319 And yes, I'm claiming "this year" because quotas are established at the beginning of the year, not at the end.

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

10 years is a bit excessive. As I posted, these changes bring Canadian citizenship rules more in line with those of other Western countries. As for making Canada less attractive as an immigration destination, the change from 3 to 4 years had zero impact on Canada's attractiveness. There are...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

I guess that's why the majority of Canadians voted for Liberals...oh wait. I guess that's why the majority of Canadians support C6...oh wait. I guess that's why Trudeau's popularity is so high...oh wait. It can go both ways.

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

No, good political parties look out for the interests of the country. Political parties on witch hunts try to undo whatever their predecessors did. C24 was aimed at accomplishing multiple things that were all in Canada's best interests. Firstly, by increasing residency periods and clearly...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

I was responding to someone who said that any bill tabled by any government represents the "will of the people" since the people elected the government. My response was that it's amazing how the peoples' will changes so frequently, even though the poll numbers show quite the opposite...
