Waiting for Oath Ceremony

Hi, I am from Surrey and just completed my oath ceremony on Monday 24, 2025, 11am PST. My timeline is on my signature.

Anyone knows how to download e-certificate without the instruction email , i didnt recieve the email instruction to download the e certificate, i have the virtual oath tommorow.

Ask the officer during the part where they sign you in and check your id, etc. Sometimes you don't get it until later, some even after the ceremony.

You need to create(if you do not have register) or login to https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en with the same email id you mentioned in your citizenship application.

Once you have completed your oath and sent your Oath and affirmation form please login to the mentioned portal and click on the link download e-Certificate . It will ask you for UCI , application no and DOB. I was able to download the certificate after an hour of Oath.

After an hour.. that was fast. I’ve been waiting for the past two days and nothing so far. I don’t understand this IRCC man. Why are they so inconsistent with their services?

March 25 2025: Received an email from IRCC Edmonton, scheduling me for: INVITATION TO AN INTERVIEW WITH A CITIZENSHIP OFFICIAL AND VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS
Asked to email a signed consent form for Microsoft Teams for this virtual interview.
Additionally, in the same instructions pdf: I was asked to send Passport all pages and Travel Documents --- again. I did this already back in December 2024. NOTICE TO APPLICANT – REQUEST FOR SUPPLEMENTARY EVIDENCE
Interview Scheduled for April 17th 2025 1045 Mountain Time

March 27 2025: Status on Tracker was upated to show details of Attend the Interview and it shows April 17th 2025 as my Interview date. Virtual Interview

I just downloaded my wife's & my citizenship certificate. However, for my minor daughter it says its still not available. Is this normal? I thought everyone would get them at the same time.

Hi folks. How many of you still waiting for the ceremony? My LPP was completed in November and still no progress with the ceremony scheduling, I have a minor and he has only prohibitions completed, remaining or in progress or not started, is it normal? Thank you.

If the minor's application is bundled with yours, it's normal, they don't update those fields for minors.

Mine, the certificate of minor is downloadable right away when mine is available.

I mean does applications with minors process slower than single ones. I can see November- December applicants who started getting ceremonies while my application still pending (lpp completed in November) Can you share your timeline please?

I believe the on-line option is usually only for those who are not getting their first passports. There is, apparently, a pilot now for those who just got citizenship, but only by invitation.
