Not necessarily. Our results for prohibitions and entry/exit from CBSA could be all ready and waiting for an officer to review and make a decision. Remember, every step of the application proces must be reviewed and decided upon by an officer. When they tell us LPP hasn't started, it means an officer hasn't entered anything into that section of our file. It doesn't mean that IRCC hasn't begun or even finished the data/info gathering for LPP. Once an officer decides to work on our LPP, they can probably make a determination in one day. Hence why most LPP is marked completed all at the same time.

I'd add - while avoiding the word 'batch' because I don't think it means anything consistent - of course they don't start the part of an officer signing off on the LPP parts until after the citzienship test is passed. Probably it's queued up as soon as the citizenship test approved - and if those parts are all in order, easily verifiable, etc - it's just that step to sign off all three at once.

Hang in there, I just called and the agent very nicely confirmed the LPP have not even started

I have spoken with the agent twice in the last three days. She confirmed Vancouver office is handling my LPP and it has not even started. My LPP has not even been touched. Additionally the new timeline of 9 months to complete a citizenship applies to both active and applicants that apply right now. I am guessing, LPP will not be completed anytime soon hearing these responses.

It seems really vary, depends on each application. I had my feeling from across the forum and Google spreadsheet that it's about a month or so, but I also read one of today (Mar 26, 2025)'s post below.

My LPP was completed in November, the ceremony is not started.

Had my oath ceremony today in-person. Got the citizenship certificate during the ceremony. Tracker is yet to be updated. We were told it takes 2 business days for the changes to propagate to all the government systems.

And it's been anywhere from 1 week after LPP gets completed to 2 months after for oath to be scheduled. Seems to depend on the applicants location and how often they host virtual and live ceremonies.

- When I will get the email for Oath ceremoney
- How can select for online Oatch Ceremoney.
Guidance on this one is much appriciated as my LPP got clear but did not get any email for Oath ceremoney hence bit curious to know how next steps will unfold.

You will get an email in due course. You can request to change to whatever type and other relevant changes by replying to that email. I don't know of any way to request a change before you get that email.
