It will take you fools atleast 5 years to get the get passport upon landing. By that stage you will have lost already. Then on TN status you will live in uncertainty again hahahah great strategy kid and as Indian you will never get GC LOL
I hope Justin Trudeau enacts a tax on Canadians abroad like the US does. Make sure everyone is paying their fair share

Unless your current employer can transfer you there, it'll be hard.

Otherwise, you'd have to get a job there before March, ask them to file for H1B (deadline March 31st), hope you get picked in the lottery (25% chance)... so that you can start working in October.

If you have the right citizenship and belong to the right age group, you can try a working holiday visa.

Don't worry, most people will return the favor and leave the country once they get that sweet sweet maple leaf passport.
Isn't the whole point of immigrating permanently to Canada, you know, staying there?
Am I out of the loop? I mean sure, housing crisis, low wages when compared to the USA (happens anywhere else in the world, really), but hey, still a pretty nice place, ain't it?

Like I said, even the Canadians are moving south for triple the pay. Why would you stay in a place where it snows five months of the year, the housing prices are out of whack.

Consider you work in IT - For a job that provides 200k in US, you will be paid 80-90k or less in Canada.

Also, the housing is much cheaper. You get twice the space in a decently populated city where as anything near city is a million dollar plus in Canada.

Snow ain't that bad, shoveling a bit isn't past me even when I know I'll be complaining about it 95% of the time I'm doing it.
Canada seems pretty welcoming, at least when I visited I felt pretty at ease. I don't personally seek the highest salary possible, since It's often in conflict with other goals or perks; I do get the appeal, however. Past a certain point, I'd much rather take sensible work-life balance, more time with the family (and the national parks to go with it) and overall a bit more security or less tension? Can't argue about the housing crisis though, that will have to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Wages are increasing and will only continue to increase. At least in tech. Right now, Canada pays significantly more than any other country in the tech industry bar the USA and Switzerland.

Indians/Chinese tech workers move there -> Companies start new offices in Canada -> more jobs and more hiring competition -> higher wages.

What used to be 50% of US wages two years ago is now close to 70% of US wages. Also, just about every major silicon valley company opened up an office in Toronto in the last two years while previously it was just Amazon and Google(Waterloo). The pandemic contributed to this as well.

We thank you for your years in taxes, expenses and rent. Honours to you @mushymush, you really screwed us over!
Goal isn't to screw over Canada at all. Shows what your mindset is really. Goal is to use it for my benefit, and leave when it no longer serves my purposes. Of course I will pay my fair share and contribute to the best of my ability while I'm there.
