Let me break it down to you... Sorry if I sound a bit jaded...

Canadian processing is FIFO ONLY in its First and Last step, ie intake and finalisation. Apart from that, it is FIFO as in Fist in Fist Out and yeah it is that brutal. Basically it goes through all the steps in different places and can be held anywhere for any duration of time. So, no, it is NOT First In First Out in any sense of the word.

Rest of the steps can take random amount of time depending upon complexity of your program, if the VO is having a constipation, if the there is war in Ukraine or Afghanistan and so on and so forth. Don't try to guess how long it will take, but IRCC suggests it should take only 6 months ie if your case is simple.

Arbitrarily any application can become "complex" -- meaning it cannt be processed by a monkey who hit its head on a wall at child birth. And when that happens, for example IRCC liked your dog's photo and wanted to see more of it, and it sent an ADR for it, now your application is "complex". Complex applications have all the bets off. They can be delayed for the time frame starting from when True-Dough gets his first period to the thermal death of the universe.

So there you have it... Trying to predict your finalization or landing date is an exercise in frustration. I heard they torture Iraqi war prisoners by making them predict waiting and wait for Canadian PR applications. This was the dirty truth behind the Guatemala prison.
haha

You were the last person who I thought would crack.

Anyways, you are CEC Inland. It's only a matter of a few days before you get approved, with a job that will most likely extend your work permit if they have to. You are the safest person here.

Thank you for getting angry on behalf of the rest of us folks, I guess.

PNP master race. EE is DED.

Now that PNP is the primary stream, that means provinces decide which NOC to pick and which place to fill by how much.

That makes more sense for a place like Canada where every place other than Ontario and BC is sparsely populated. But does make Canada less attractive to a prospective immigrant. Only the desperate will immigrate now.

No CEC this year? Sounds unbelievable if we take into account that 2021 was only for CEC...
TR2PR is only for essential NOC's and those who graduated in Canada. It means that nothing to do with others who are on a closed WP based on LMIA (I assume they are a minority of the total inlands).
So yes, some of the inlands will leave or have to look at PNP streams. it's going to be a boring year.

Congrats and good luck. I guess it counts as a PPR. How fast was the whole process?
My application was processed in about 4 months. But I know it was quick becoz I spent 10 years of the last 12 years in Australia with minimal travel history. And processing time for employer sponsored visas have decreased significantly these days.

@dankboi Remember I said the Chinook system was a joke, I take that back. Just learning about how unfair it is
since September i was following that shit, thanks to Will Tao and his gang who are behind it, ATIPing to expose it more.
There was little expectation that something similar to chinook or an AI that will be used for PR process, but now i feel they'll low key use it now to deal with tr2pr
