FSW Inland PR applicants

I reached out to my Immigration consultant , and he said filling Mandamus is very expensive. I also checked the link which you have provided about mandamus but it does not provide cost involved. Can share some light on this topic. I am also thinking about going ahead and file one.

I feel like I should take a mandamus, but the cost is making me reluctant. 22 months!! I’ve asked my local MP for a second enquiry…! FSW apps are screwed, 36 months processing time!!

I am also thinking of taking this route. Just waiting for my work permit extension to come through. It’s ridiculous wait times. Since Jan hardly seeing any movement in fsw files especially with Ottawa VO.

Exactly Ottawa VO Appears to be dead. I saw tons of FSW's getting processed by other VISA offices barely any movement from Ottawa office. Then ones I see from Ottawa are PNP applicants. I don't have words to explain my frustration with the entire process.

Same here . There are several pprs issued for fsw outlands, whose aors are even in 2021. If they can’t process why not move it to other VOs. Now lost all my kool.

I got a GU yesterday, but nothing has change, additional documents still shows "January 20, 2022 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided." and background check still shows "We are processing your background check".

Even i was asked for the updated proof of fund, which is submitted the same day. It still says We are reviewing the additional documents you provided and the background check still shows "We are processing your background check"
Look like we need to keep on waiting

They said that everything passed, eligibility, background, ... everything.

Now I wonder how long I will have to wait.

Has anyone got an answer like that and are still waiting a decade?

That’s great. I didn’t try calling them yet. I kind of feel there is no movement with Ottawa Vo since last 2 weeks. I was a bit hopeful after the medical update. But now clueless how much more the wait is gonna be. What was ur AOR and VO?

The wait begins, I was told the same thing last week. Hopefully we get the portal email soon!

Got a ghost update today morning but no real update in the application. AOR Oct. 2020 VO: Ottawa, medicals expired in Oct. 2021 but not yet extended (still showing "You do not need a medical exam"). Not sure if it is a system glitch or any real update on my application. Anyone got ghost update today?

I've got the same Timeline as yours. I believe the GU is nothing more than someone trying to update your medicals expiry.

BOWP approved (for 2 years) for primary as well as secondary applicant.
50 mins after Background check status was updated to "Not applicable" the application was "Approved".
BOWP application date : 11 Sep 2021
Approved date : Jan 31st 2022

That means we will have to wait two more years, hahahaha. Nice. Really we fsw inland have always been in the middle and nobody seems to notice us.

do you mean that, everything is done for you and in the review section you still have "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."
