    August 2024 - Citizenship Application

Hi all! Applied on Aug 06, AOR 08/15, app tracking 08/22!! I hope our processing time goes smoothly! Heard some people took 3 months only!! After a 2.5 years PR process (delayed because of covid), I’m done waiting for these immigration processing times!!

no. I wanted to confirm if they are done remotely. In the past, you had to go in person to do the test. So I’m guessing now it’s 100% remote?! There is a chance I’m not in Canadá by the time.

    November 2022 - Citizenship Applications

Hi, I ask this question to you and any other who would like to respond: are all tests being required virtually? Or could we potentially be requested to do it in person?

sorry to hear that. I though the biggest mistake I made was to have submitted my application before completing one year experience, entering in the FSW as opposed to CEC, but apparently even CEC has had long lasting processes… back when I applied, I was not even aware of this distinction...

Really said to still see outstanding applications from that backlog while they have already Re-opened the draws. They should have finalized the backlog first. My process took 28 months (March 2020 to July 2022), so yours ought to be close to the end! But I do know that while a response is not...

Hang in there. There are reasons to be positive: a) remed normally is the end of the long path. It was for me. b) it will take some time before the recent ITA applications start to be processing. (They have medicals and biometrics to submit first). Meaning they have only a few older...

not much to be done. I received my COPR in mid July after 28 months. Since 2021, I found out what happened with our applications. They left them rotting while they went after more applications they deemed easier to process during pandemic time. now however I truly believe (and hope) they are...

Security check might not mean much. Mine was never started and the application was finalized, so that piece I don’t even know why they keep showing.

it should be it for you, because I had the portal email after the same sequence of ADR and then 5 months after remedicals.

nice! security has been a question mark to me. The background check that always showed “in progress” at “my cic” was indeed misleading. Once my application changed to approved, it showed background check finished at dec 11 2021. security remains unfinished even though I became pr already!

I could not find what you refer. The most recent note is from April 07 2022 and the officer here was K046348 CPC-Ottawa. Now is there any other place, maybe in the summary of the GCMS notes?

can we choose? In the request for privacy, you need to state that you’re looking for immigration records. So it goes straight to IRCC…

Just wanted to share my eCOPR just arrived. in spite of the new draw, I think everyone in this room will have their apps processed within 3 months. That’s how many months on hands they have worth of remaining applications… (total of 30,000, and 8,000 being finished each month). I don’t think...
