Just wanted to share my eCOPR just arrived. in spite of the new draw, I think everyone in this room will have their apps processed within 3 months. That’s how many months on hands they have worth of remaining applications… (total of 30,000, and 8,000 being finished each month). I don’t think...

don’t even know how the rep got this info. They should not know any better than our own GCMS notes… not sure if the info is solid.

I can feel your pain! But security might not even start even after PR. I have already submitted my Portal information for the ECOPR, but my security was never actually done. so don’t lose your hopes over that. but I totally agree with Samet Kasik, it is hugely disrespectful passing brand new...

yes that was my biggest fear. One of the reasons my application took 28 months is because every single CEC and many other type of applications moved in front of mine… That includes thousands of TRtoPR they opened to make it easier to process more applications and not touching ours…!

I apply to enter Canada through my CIC portal to whatever was available. I think any work permit comes with an eTA because they imply you could be overseas. I was here so it did not make much difference, but my eTA got updated to the same length as the new work permit. used that to renew my OHIP.

went through the same thing. You can extend your work permit through your CIC portal. Did it, it takes less than 4 months and you will get 2 Years additional of permit.

19 months, Samet Kasik?!?! I waited 28 months only to receive the portal email, not even the COPR. that said, I was really concerned with the new draw, as I’ve experience hundreds of thousands applications moving ahead of mine…!

After 28 months, my Portal Email finally came! Now hoping it won’t take long for my COPR. on Dec 2021 got Schedule A and Military requests. On April 2022 got request for handwritten response to my Sep 2021 withdrawal request to which I declined to pursue. On May 19, got Re-Medical requests. On...

Crossing my fingers. went to check my account, nothing new, no letter, but it showed Application Status Updated instead of “Submitted” or “action required”. They’ve got to be touching my application. I hope this means I’m close to receive the portal email!!

I received Schedule A and Military history back in Dec 12, replied 2 days later. In April, got a request letter for my old Sep 2021 Withdraw request: they wanted me to hand write the withdrawal in order to execute it. Of course I asked NOT to since there are no longer CEC draws anymore for me...

thanks appreciate that!! In July 6, FSW and CEC draws will resume unfortunately. I’m counting on the fact new applicants have 60 days after ITA to submit their documentation, giving more time so those brand new applications don’t take our place in line as they had done so in the past. I hope...

you should be in the end!! After all…! Can I ask you a question: did you have to take medicals 3 times?!?! Or the 2 MED was just them extending it?! And I saw you had to send over the Schedule A twice! It’s so unfair, they make us go through an infinite loop: 6 months to apply any updates que...
