Hey guys check this up:

FSW has only 3 months of applications inventory, folks, so statistically speaking, we should all get our conclusions in a 3 months-period.
AS LONG AS they do once again put brand new applications in front of ours when processing, since they are reopening FSW draws in July!

they are processing 5k to 8k FSW persons out of 25,000 persons remaining in the inventory as of May 31st.

Hi, I don't understand - are you saying all pending applications from Dec 2019 will be decided in 3 months?

On average, all pending applications in the FSW bucket from any time should not last more than 3 months.

they have been processing between 5k to 8k persons per month recently and they only got 30k applications left in FSW, and so far, there is no new application (draws are closed since 2020).

there should not be any FSW person left after 3 months.

the only caveat is that in July they will reopen FSW draws. There is chance, though I don’t want to believe to be true, that some of these brand new applications be processed BEFORE ours!

since they’ve passed hundreds of thousands persons ahead of us in the past…..

you should be in the end!! After all…!
Can I ask you a question: did you have to take medicals 3 times?!?! Or the 2 MED was just them extending it?!
And I saw you had to send over the Schedule A twice!
It’s so unfair, they make us go through an infinite loop: 6 months to apply any updates que submit, by the time they move the application over, those same updated forms become outdated and they ask those once again…

thanks appreciate that!!

In July 6, FSW and CEC draws will resume unfortunately. I’m counting on the fact new applicants have 60 days after ITA to submit their documentation, giving more time so those brand new applications don’t take our place in line as they had done so in the past.

I hope my process is finished before this wave of new applicants come along….!!!

Any Idea how long it takes to get the passport back after PPR? (to Ottawa)

Hello @legalfalcon .Firstly, thank you for all the assistance and information you provide. It is not only extremely useful but very much appreciated. If possible, I would like your opinion on this matter. I received my CBSA notes back in May and on it I saw the following:

Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Misrepresentation:
Medical: Passed
Infor Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs: Not Started
Final:

However, the last update on my profile was July 2021, 1 year ago when my re-medical exam was passed. Since then I have noticed that my security is still “Not started”. In the notes section, there is the following:

General File pending officer review Due date pushed 30 days 2022/04/29

General Due date pushed for 30 days 2022/03/25

General Pending officer review, Due date pushed 30 days 2022/02/25

General Due date pushed for 30 days 2022/01/25

General Security pending. Due date pushed for 30 days 2021/12/22

General Security not started; due dates pushed to 30 days 2021/11/22

The security keeps getting pushed for 30 days again and again. Considering we are now in July, that means it was pushed again in May and June. Do you think my application is stuck in advanced screening or something?

After 28 months, my Portal Email finally came! Now hoping it won’t take long for my COPR.

on Dec 2021 got Schedule A and Military requests.
On April 2022 got request for handwritten response to my Sep 2021 withdrawal request to which I declined to pursue.
On May 19, got Re-Medical requests.
On June 22, I’ve passed the medicals for the second time.
On July 04, got the Portal Email saying my application has been approved.

Hope this shed some lights to all of you!!
