and AORs are generally 6 months or so, right?I don't think its everyone that got a notification regarding the application, the main thing is AOR which our batch is yet to start receiving, I wouldn't worry about not receiving ghost updates, if IRCC needs you to update anything, they would surely reach out. We are all patiently waiting for AOR

My Parents received a Email notification on Dec 30, 2021 Saying :
This email is to notify you that your permanent residence application status has been updated on your IRCC Permanent Residence portal account.
To view your permanent residence application status, log into your IRCC Permanent Residence Portal account with your current log-in credentials.
You can access the portal using this link: https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
However, when we login in -to this portal;- https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
There is no update - Still showing Submitted and there is nothing to view.
Has anyone received notification like that ?

Yes,, many of us received such notification but didn't find any update on portal. We termed it "Ghost Update"
Based on historical data, does anyone know In general how much time does it take for the completion of the entire process assuming documentation is fine. i.e from Application submission to receiving COPR? The website says 20-24 months. Is that fairly accurate ?
I had applied on November 4, 2021 but haven’t received the ghost update or any email from ircc.
I thing its fast bcz now online portal fast services i hope nop 20 24 months
From the tracker https://immitrackerpro.com/ca, some Jan 2021 applicants already got PPR by Dec 2021. Thats about 12 months, but there are still many waiting. I would still work with 20 months and hope it can be faster as they clear backlogs
Hello Everyone, so some of you might have read that my last post that i got emial from cic that they need imm5669 and imm5406 form for Principle applicant and also for any dependent.
Application status on online Says return, due to one or more forms needs to be corrected.
In the letter they attached , they asked me to emial the forms, as pdf, as they needed to be hand signed and dated.
Questions, should now go and do something online as well on online portal. They never asked to do something for online. Just asked me to send the forms via email. In the letter it had the application number too. And it was stated the just add the application number in subject line and just send the forms

I would suggest that you do the two. If you log on to the profile, you would see the IMM forms they want you to update, I think you should update with same information and still send the paper and note in the email that you have updated and resubmitted online as well.

Did you include Email as the preferred means of correspondence? I am not sure they send mail/document to home address. If there is anything needing the applicants attention, they would send a notification to the email address provided.

Yes, I included my email for correspondence. I was talking to their new residence address. Should I update it as well? So they can do the medical here instead in foreign country? Thank you.
