get a divorce, so you can move your citizenship application with the new marriage contract you obtained from england.
Life is short. Immigration is long. Have an affair. Get a divorce.

Sounds so like Ashley Medison.... More like Ashley Cohen Medison

Life is short. Immigration is long. yes long when it comes to US and canada,
the whole PR process is simply 6 months in England and their background check is the most insane yet all applications are processed in 3-4 months. and the UKVI is very active and transparent, They will also request the applicant to pay off debts in any other country where the applicant lived, this is not a mandatory action but UKVI requests it to do. so you won't have disturbances from foreign credit chasers while you live in England.
I may be coming back to England after a few years in Canada.

work for 2-3 years in the states or canada, then start applying to jobs in the UK, we have been seeing this trend for the past 5 years and work permits are being approved quick.
Isn't the UK a downgrade when compared to the US in terms of pay? Makes more sense to move to the US from Canada after getting citizenship because of the same timezone.

nope, that's why the minimum threshold for the work permit is kept as the minimum requirement for tier 2 permit. get a tier 2, try for london, stay here for 2 years and you'll feel everywhere else is affordable and cheap. check the GBP rates.

Asians and especially the indian folks who are on tier 2 here lives with their families with 2-3 kids and the men are the only one's employed! some bring their grandparents too and i have discussed it with them about their ways of management and they says it's quite manageable with one person working, and imagine a couple with no kids where both are working. save for 2 years and you will be able to buy the property.

If you aren't bothered by everyday showers and gloomy skies then london is a better and neat place. personally i dislike the weather here. and for a change i'm planning this canadian venture

I read that London is even worse than Toronto or Vancouver in affordability.

Since brexit corporates are hiring Asians and we saw a hike in Resume's from indians living in the US. My boss is applying for Tier2 permits for 2 Indians this week, One's an indian girl living in CA, US.

A tier 2 makes everything affordable bruh, UK is not after increasing the population hehe,

Bro but for you, the only thing left is security + re-med or med pass right? I feel you should get PPR within Q2 next year.
Yeah, re-med and security are pending. Hoping to get PPR around the same time as my sister so that we can move together.

I don't like Tier-2 because it has validity of Permit tied to your job. If you loose your job, find a new one in 6 weeks or so or get out.
I will rather take Tier-1. Tech Nation visa makes a lot of sense. I do think I will qualify.

Since you know stuff about UK. What do you think about Edinburg as a city to live? I will prefer it over London and near by area. Edinburg has a really great tech scene and it seems like really nice city. Its also affordable as compared to Vancouver.

for families, anywhere away from london will be fine.

Tier-2 because it has validity of Permit tied to your job yes as written by the UKVI but when it comes to real life it's no more. it's 2021 emplyers and employees are all very flexible to the level that government doesn't interfere to waste time.
The permit requirements are all official by the government but you'll see the hidden flexibilities a tier 2 gives when you enter the job.

there will be no info on the internet, the flexibility was and is made possible by both parties for the benefit of the organization and the employee, so it's always an in person experience rather something officially written. Since nobody is causing problems / harms the government doesn't step in to say that you can't do this since it's tier 2.
You can do multiple jobs, most times employers will help you transfer to another job as per your wish if someone is willing to pay you more. We have more nice negotiations for each other's prosperity.
