Did the original refusal letter give a reason? Have you ordered gcms notes?Hey guys. I got the blue book today and there is no reasons why the application was refused
How was pre-arrival letter received? Was it emailed to you/your spouse? Finally we have some news.
Yesterday I checked GCKEY and our application status had changed to Submitted, rather than the Refused it had been showing since our refusal.
This morning we received the Invitation to Pre-Arrival services and ECAS is open again.
The original letter and the GCMS notes doesnt have any reasons. Even my lawyer doesnt understand.Did the original refusal letter give a reason? Have you ordered gcms notes?
Very odd. I'd hope that you could push for the alternative solution, or get the lawyer to have the refusal voided or something. Good luck. The original letter and the GCMS notes doesnt have any reasons. Even my lawyer doesnt understand.
I will have a discussion with the lawyer shortly and ask for the mediation and/or have the refusal voided (didnt know that was a thing)Very odd. I'd hope that you could push for the alternative solution, or get the lawyer to have the refusal voided or something. Good luck.
I don't know for sure that it is a thing but it seems to me there may be a requirement under law or regs for there to be a reason (with ref to specific section of admissibility criteria in the law).I will have a discussion with the lawyer shortly and ask for the mediation and/or have the refusal voided (didnt know that was a thing)
Thanks for the advice
I mean we know they think its a bad faith marriage and entered for the purpose of immigration. But we dont know how she came to the conclusions and what were her concerns.I don't know for sure that it is a thing but it seems to me there may be a requirement under law or regs for there to be a reason (with ref to specific section of admissibility criteria in the law).
Bad analogy but you can't be thrown in jail for 'crime' -they have to be specific. And they need to provide you details to appeal against.
So I'm kind of guessing that you may have a cause of action a bit different from most cases. But not a lawyer so truly a guess.
we waited 6 weeks.Hello group. Does anyone know how long does it take to get letter after hearing?
Thanks
