PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

PR Renewal

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 28, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 15, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on October 15, 2021.

Still no update, on GCkey it says "in Process" but on ecas it say "decision made". Have contacted my local MP to look into. Had about 20 days of travel, but nothing crazy.

Anyone else have a similar timeline?

I called and found out my application is sent to production 2 months after DM on Oct 29 due to a system error. They said it's currently in production and I can do nothing except waiting! I have a flight in 2 weeks!!!

To me, it seems like they had internal system issue with all th May applications. Mine was received May 14, on Oct 21 my MP office told me it was sent to production and I should wait for 3 weeks. It’s more than 3 weeks, but I got nothing from them!!! Very annoying!!!!

Hi there my timeline is as follows.

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 10, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 08, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on October 08, 2021.
   was on decision made since then.
4. Today i received update on my GCKey account that my application is approved and card has been mailed.
   so definitely there is a long delay in applications. I was out of Canada almost more then half of the time but was accompanied by Canadian spouse.
   I hope this will help others.

me is same i applied 10may DM sep until to today nothing so many webform no serusly response today again i sent ticket janury5th2022 payment receipet . my docter note because i have leg surgery last year due to fracture bone i still struggling my leg pain i wan go india taking second opinine to any docter

IRCC IS SO INCINSISTENT AND NO TRANPRENCY , for some people after decision mad card is printed after 5 days and sent . But for some they get stuck . I don’t understand who will be responsible for financial and mental loss some may have occurred

Hello I received my COPR in late July. I have not received my PR card as of now. I wanted to know if there is anything on my end that I can do to get more information about it? I am getting very worried as I haven't seen my parents in 4 years now. I genuinely just feel broken by this system and how's it's drained me. Sorry for the sappy post, but I need some answers that ircc does not provide. Everytime I try calling them I am told that they are too busy processing the Afghanistan situation. I am even changing my address so I have sent a web inquiry form as well as an email to the following email address Etobicoke-CIC-APR@cic.gc.ca

More details:
- I got my pr landing portal login information on June 9th and uploaded my photo and address shortly after that
- Received a call from an agent around July 22nd asking me about my application. They said that there was a delay because my work permit had expired during my pr card application, which is why the delay.
- Got my COPR a few days later.
- Have received nothing else from them nor done anything since I have received my COPR

Please let me know if I have to do anything else. Really appreciate the help, thanks!

Today 10 AM EST, I have received email from IRCC stating "This confirms that your application for your Permanent Resident card has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2021/08/20. "

I have tried to check status via ESAS but it does not identify my application, by when my application will reflect into ECAS. Can someone provide input on this?

It usually takes around 24 hours to show on ECAS

I am also curious about the same.

I received my PR Card from Sydney,NS but still hasn't received my spouse PR Card.

As per our MP, both of our card sent to production on Oct 16, 2021

My wife spoke to an agent this morning and she said it can be printed in Sydney or details are sent to the local IRCC office which does the printing after secondary verification. The reason she said this is, we asked her about when we can expect delivery of our cards as we travel planned on Dec 10th. She said she will look at the system and the system said the file has been approved in Sydney and sent to production in Sydney which would take 5 business days and then it would be dispatched.. timelines of the Canada post are not with IRCC so she cannot say for sure.

Is there a way to get the Canada Post Tracking Number?
