It usually goes from "Processing" -> "Progress" -> "Processing" for inland CEC folks.

Yes mine default was "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" at the submission of AOR and changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check". Waiting to see to go to Processing back again.

Processings (what they call False IP2 here) is default state.
It goes to Progress (IP1)
Then it goes to Processing again (IP2).

And after few GU you get PPR.

Did your Agent order GCMS notes? I doubt he can tell otherwise. The CSC is not taking any calls these days.

Thats really weird. Usually it leaves CIO Sydney by now. Ask someone like @legalfalcon who has seen many many many applications.

Also order GCMS notes.

To be honest, there is too much randomness. But given if nothing is blocking your case and everything is sailing fine and all your biometrics are present, usually IP1 is reached with in a week of MEP/Biometric update. IP2 after 20-30 days. And PPR after 10-15 days of IP2.

So you total time is

30 days for MEP + 1 week for IP1 + 20-30 days for IP2 + 10-15 days for PPR = 70-80 days. Usually within 3 months you get your PPR.

But these are very very very rough estimates. Things pop up. Afghan crisis happen. Elections happen. Christmas comes and it all impacts timeline.

I am an inland applicant with 3 inland dependents Actually, my AOR is August 25 and got MEP and BIL on September 24. But due to the delay in passport renewal, I could submit the Biometrics only on October 21. Since then, my status shows, eligibility is in review and Background is in processing stage. On November 2nd I got an email stating that the application is processing ( I believe most of the applicants got this email) not sure if we need to consider this as GU1.

Send a webform (though I am not very sure if they will do anything on it). These days they are using Afghanistan crisis as an excuse. They have not landed even 4000 afghans and are saying all our resources have been blocked in afghan crisis.

Hello, My AOR is Aug 24 , CEC with outland dependent. I am on a work permit and TRV ending on Jan 8th. I am planning to travel India and coming back before December 20th. Kindly let me know is it safe to travel ?. Thank you for your valuable inputs

Been over three months since I applied (Aug 5) and haven't received any GUs or updates since the first week of October.
