Did she by any chance upload her Vaccination Card in her application?

HI Everyone,

I applied for my parents visit visa yesterday. My only concern is that at the end it asked me who will you choose as a principal applicant so I chose my father. Now once I submitted the application, the record in the portal was updated. For my father application, the client application summary is available.

The data which was inserted for my mothers application is not available.

Hi for your parent did you pick, to reunite with immmediate family member or visit family and friends for less than 6 months?

no medical requested, nothing at all. Well. Next step is Quarantine Procedure and looking for cheap flights now!

I am too still,i applied online for touristic purpose to visit Canada ,i used the portal ,it is two weeks now.but here all visitors applications are stuck since July 2020,no movement ,it seems they give priority to people who will visit old relatives ,sick people......................

That’s it.

It has not passed the 30 business days response time yet. Remember the 30 day timeline excludes weekends and all holidays (most likely canadian holidays but also possibly local office holidays)

I am planning to visit my sister in Canada. I am currently working in Qatar. The company name on my residency permit in Qatar and the company I work for are different. How will this affect my visit visa application when I submit my residency permit and current employment related documents.

Anyone who faced similar issue and tackled this, please help me out.

Won't matter. I had the same issue when applying for PR from UAE in 2019. Completely different company name, and different job title as well - they didn't care and I got approved.

hi your biometrics will show in the portal once you send your application. I applied for my mother and put in her UCI from the old visit visa application and then her biometrics got updated in the portal. Paid only 100

Hi! In how many days was your mother's biometrics updated in her new application? Could you please let me know as I am in the same situation that I have mentioned my mother's UCI in her new application. I will be thankful.

I applied for my parents visitor visa so they could see my brother in canada whom they havent seen from the last 2 years. I submitted the application on 29th sept 21 via GCKEY and I was unaware of the new portal at that time.

Later on after their biometrics I came to know about the new portal and read that the response has been fast as it gives an option whether this application is for reuniting with an immediate family member. Further read that the previous application would be automatically withdrawn if I go ahead with the new portal.

For reuniting my family, I applied again on the new portal.

Could anyone please share their views regarding my situation? I would be extremely grateful.

Do I need to submit a new application through IRCC account or application through GC key (cic) is sufficient. Please advise.
