I wish for ban to continue for a while if PPR flood would have been a causeThe outage was caused by the PPR flood that FB servers were unable to contain. The flood is reported to have caused great damage to the egos of CEC applicants.

You need to be on a dual intent visa to apply for Greem Card. Meaning you need to compete with Indians for H1B. L1 would not be an issue if you are experienced. My suggestion would be to get Canadian citizenship and move to the US on a TN visa (see if your job qualifies) or find a US company in Canada, work for them and move to the US L1 visa. Stay away from H1B visa.As someone earning 6 digit salary (USD), having approx 60k USD liquid funds, what alternate options are best after PR in Canada?
I'm considering going to the USA as a student and exploring GC options there. I'm a non-Indian/Chinese so it might not be so complicated for me.
Your AOR is May 2021 only. Don't expect too many updates for the next few months.Any U.S applicant here who has seen some movement in their files with AOR after May 2021 ? My AOR is June 6, 2021 and It has been 3 months since then ... Nothing as of now ... However, I see people with AOR before me like May 12, 2021 and June 25, 2021 got their BIL / MEP already !
May I ask why yours is in Montreal VO? Did you give the French test? I thought the VO's for US applications are in Ottawa. We are in same boat; December AoR; Montreal VO; COR: USA
I am already on EB1; thinking of staying here only
I have not applied for GC… Canada seems a better choice.May I ask why yours is in Montreal VO? Did you give the French test? I thought the VO's for US applications are in Ottawa.
Also, why would you wanna move to Canada when you are on EB1. What's your priority date?
I already work for multiple US companies remotely One of them might sponsor me H1B but I'm not sure how long it will take. You need to be on a dual intent visa to apply for Greem Card. If your end game is to get an American PR, I think EB-1C is straightforward. You will require a bit of foot work in your work place but it is doable. As far as moving to USA thru L1 goes -- needless to say you will need to rub some folks the right way to make it happen. Or it could be a part of bigger negotiations.Well, that's the path I am looking for. Except, I wanna move to Canada and do it. I love my country but it has been a pain holding on to that Indian passport. Nothing but sufferings only. Coming to your point, this is a path many know of. But, work politics won't be that easy to overcome and move to the USA thru L1.
I am a ICT closed work permit now applied to PR. It is a valid path and it works super if it works. It gives you everything you need. Work experience, T4s, MSP after 90 days and insurance before that, lawyer support.Intra company transfer doesn't require LMIA. Also, I am not sure if you can get an open work permit, which doesn't require any LMIA.
Third is to join a company that has an office in Canada and do a ICT. NO, it is not hard like walking on water. Many IT companies allow that. For all those looking for ways to make it to Canada:
I have investigated through almost each and every Canadian immigration pathway, and for those who have absolutely zero ties to Canada (never have stepped their foot inside Canada and/or do not have any relatives over there) there are only 2 options available (Please add to the list if I am wrong as I am eager to explore other options as well):
1: For those who do not have enough funds and/or ability to get scholarship/funds from a Canadian university = FSW stream and/or outland PNP nominations
2: For those who can afford a few tens of thousands of dollars per annum and/or able to earn scholarship/funds from Canadian universities = Study route
For either of these options, you absolutely do not need to spend a single dollar on consultant or immigration lawyers services. Stay away from scammers.
I might have missed something about american immigration, you are on EB but not having a GC?I have not applied for GC… Canada seems a better choice.
Yes, I am on L1 A(Manager of Managers) and choosing not to apply under EB1I might have missed something about american immigration, you are on EB but not having a GC?
