Here there are two scenarios.
First they haven't received your application. .second they received your application but later on returned .
Actually , IRCC return application BY regular mail , so might be lost
Better to call IRCC call centre people, even file Is not in the system still they can check with your date of birth that what was reason for the return
But in July 2021 they sent me additional documents request and original birth certificate..I already sent
If they sent you a request then Definately there should be a file no. Over there . Please check the letter again .
IRCC asks for the additional documents only when there is file no.
I read that they are finalizing application from dec 2019 for.outland.so it's going to be a hell.of a long wait still
I applied for visitor visa as well for.my husband and its been 14 months with nothing ....unbelievable
It is saying 12 months but when I checked the.process times on another site it said they are currently finalizing applications from Dec 17 to the 21 of 2019

Any idea of what is the wait time for the medical request for the applications submitted in 2021?
Not sure about that ...I applied in Oct of 2020 for my husband and he got medical.request in April 2021 ..so it was 6 months from aor
