Hi All,

For my wife and I test and BG are completed as of July 21. We got a passport request for my wife which we sent in early August. I thought it was because she had 2 passports in the eligibility period as one had expired.

After this no update. What's the recent wait time between test completion and decision made?

About a week or so. It's been over 3 months now and still no invite for interview/oath taking. so frustrating that it's taking so long.

this was same in my wife case after sending passport copies within 1 month she got oath cermony invitation but it scheduled in march 2022

Winnipeg. and no I did not get a request for passport pages. Do you know why they're asking for a copy of your passport pages? Does it have something to do with your number of days in Canada?

Hello, my wife and I already received invitation to take Oath on December 16th 2021 some time ago. The problem is we are expecting a baby on December 18th 2021 (give or take couple of days). We have waited for so long to finally become Canadian citizens, and we dont want more delays. Has anyone request to be moved into an earlier Oath date (with reasonable justification)? If the only option is to move it into a later day, then we prefer to take our chances and keep it on date we have right now. Thank you everyone

Please dont POKE the BEAR (IRCC) to further delay your oath date.
I dont know the answer for earlier oath date request but I want to suggest to take the oath even your wife gets into labour that day (I hope not).
You are lucky to have a date at this point. Imagine about others, where some are waiting for test even at this date.

Hi, My background was completed in Feb 2021 and since then there is no update on my application. It's frustrating to see no further updates on the case. I agree to the fact the processing was hit by COVID-19 but thats IRCC has to figure out why can't immigration are not productive if they are working from home. Was wondering if there is some sort of escalation list to whom queries can be directed.
