Express Entry applications
Last updated: September 21, 2021
Canadian Experience Class applications
We’re working at full capacity to process applications.
You may experience delays because we have a backlog of applications due to COVID-19.
We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between
February 14 and 20, 2021
If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it.
All other Express Entry applications
  • We have limited capacity to process applications and you may experience a delay.
  • If your application was approved on or before March 18, 2020, and your COPR has expired, you must follow these instructions.

I suppose there is no reason to keep checking this...

Sure but there are much better options out there if one's willing to spend that kinda money... There's only one case where a Canadian degree makes sense; that is if you're getting that degree not for immigration but for your own personal development.
Easy to say if your CoR isn’t “on fire”.

Mark Holthe thinks Expess entry may change a bit. NOC based invites may not come to reality until end of 2022. So people can chill for now but be prepared for a little change in the system. Liberal gov will continue to give away PR to fkers in Canada. Holthe genuinely apologized for his remarks that Canada doesn’t owe us anything. He lashed out at incompetence of IRCC and how they treated us all with no decency and dignity. He thinks FSW still not a priority for Canada because IRCC hasn’t indicated that it would be. He suggest you all to learn French. More rural focused programs.

What is NOC based invite though? Why do we need a federal-level PNP?
Does it mean that not all CEC will be invited?

There is no NOC-based invite right now. It might happen in late 2022, till then they will continue to focus on the people inside canada. FSW has no updates, no one is talking about it and no one is interested in it.

FSW is over, liberal party already said they want to increase pathways for temporary residents in their election brochure, they are already doing that and they will make it permanent next year. Maybe PNP will be the only option for FSW's to get ITA.

Okay... Then NOC based draws are not gonna affect FSW.
My question is: How is this going to be implemented for CEC? Does it mean that ONLY occupation in demand will be drawn from CEC, thus not all CECs would be invited?
If that's the case, doesn't it go against liberal's idea of increasing pathways for temporary residents though? I mean for some CEC: E.g. admin assistant as an example, they might never get an invitation.
