Mark Holte Suggested that IRCC should stop FSW draw and Focus on CEC esp the Inland applicant. The reason is not far fetched, all these so-called consultants and immigration do not really have Clients from Oversea that they can feed on their Ignorance. They get alot of Ignorant Inland applicant that patronise them and worship their service alot....


All these will stop in a couple of weeks from Now. ALL PROGRAM will restart after all these Politics stop

There is more towards that. It was not only Canadian Lawyers association etc. Because of the whole mess with travelling they also decided to treat this as an experiment. Surely a lot of people sniffed the way of making s**** lots of money on top of that. But that was the reality that sadly we had to deal with and we are steal dealing. However, FSW is coming back soo be positive guys. I am saying this from the begining of since I have joined this forum

I don't think so. Here are IRCC's immigration priorities for permanent residency:

1 - Qualified people in Canada (doctors, engineers etc.)
2 - Unqualified people in Canada (cleaners, farm workers with neither English nor any education)
3 - Refugees
4 - Undocumented aliens in Canada
5 - Prisoners in Canada
6 - Emotional support animals in Canada
7 - Other animals
8 - Random people they choose by throwing dart arrows at application lists during lunch time (excluding fsw-o)
9 - FSW-Outland applicants

More than 2 years (almost 2.5 years). I started from 0.

it’s not easy but it’s possible to do it between 10months to 1 yr. I started from zero and achieved B2/C1 in 10 months

Serious question though. Under normal circumstances, is there a difference in processing speed between PNP and FSW (both outland)? If I'm not wrong, once the nomination is received, the PNP file is transferred to IRCC for processing so it should be similar processing times if the time to receive the nomination is excluded. Is that correct? Not asking about paper-based PNPs, but EE ones.

I am doing two things to keep me motivated:
1. Learning French - Already achieved B2/C1 level and got Quebec ITA. Now targeting to reach C2 level. After a point, it becomes fun to learn a new language. It also provides a cushion of additional points in case FSW draws are further delayed.
2. Doing certifications for the jobs in demand in Quebec - I am going through the jobs available in Quebec, which profiles recruiters are looking for, how many jobs are there for different roles, which certifications I can do which will augment my current experience.

I believe no effort in learning new things is wasted.

1. I have started the french learning process too... but work keeps getting in the way , haven't given as much attention to it as I can as I am drained after work.
2. I am an effin bean counter, have to get certified to work in canada in my field, but to get the certification, I gotta be in Canada to give the exam.
