Just got an email from the local office! The agent assigned to my case took an extended leave of absence and that's why my file had been sitting dormant.

A Senior Officer has been now assigned to my urgent processing case, and they emailed me to request to provide the scanned copy of all pages of passports for the past 10 years. They told me that as soon as I send in the passports through email, they will make a decision immediately.

My theory is that my 2nd urgent request had more solid basis than the 1st.

I only have a handful of entry/exits stamps, so shall I get them translated? I was contacted directly by the officer, so I am thinking maybe translations of those few stamps are not relevant.
Can anyone comment on this please?

I've updated the spreadsheet. You're in line for oath now. As the next step, you'll receive oath notification on the dashboard.

Unless the officer said differently, please translate everything that isn't in English or French and submit all the pages ASAP.

So if we dont have any urgent request then the file will be just lying there without anyone looking into it. We all were assuming it would be the case but now they are even mentioning it to the clients without any hesitation which shows that they really dont care what client thinks.
vow....

I had submitted passport copies on July 15th no further communication so far. .. I hav e raised couple of webforms to make sure those copies are attached to my file .. Called up theIRCC customer centre and they aren't giving any proper update on my file.

Personal reasons / Extended leave is an excuse that everyone will use during these COVID times and you cannot do anything about it, but sit and hope for the best. What else is the recourse we have?
