2 weeks from this date , First week the status changed to "certificate Printed" then next week, it was delivered to BLS and I got it next day

same here. It says "printed" no update after that in BLS or in passport seva.

I am not sure as you have to take into account the holidays in December and Jan. I would suggest to follow up closely with BLS or to be in safer side please apply for entry visa.

Starts from Nov 15th. This was the case with my application as well. After the receipt of application, BLS take 8-10 business days to forward the application to CGI.So processing time for CGI starts from that point. In your case it is Nov 15th.

Since last week, the status for my passport surrender says "Surrender certificate has been granted and is available for issuance." in CG website. Any idea on how much longer does it take to get certificate on hand?

So I called up BLS Brampton to check if they have started taking OCI and surrender together. As per guideline from CGI, BLS said, only in Vancouver Jurisdiction submission of OCI and surrender is accepted together, not in Ottawa/Toronto Jurisdiction.

The record will show up next day on the receipt of package by BLS. however, BLS will open the package and forward it to CGI only after 8 business days.

I submitted my application last week - Postal application. BLS/CGI doesn't allow simultaneous submission of OCI and Surrender anymore. Apply for Surrender, get the certificate and then apply for OCI.

352 is for OCI .. BLS does not accept submission of passport surrender and OCI applications together. you apply for passport surrender, get the surrender certificate and then apply OCI

I think the fee varies based on Jurisdictions ,My application is from Brampton, I did a draft for CAD 129.40 per applicant in the favour of "BLS International Services Canada INC "

I echo this.. After hearing this news from BLS agent, I did go to the BLS office in Brampton directly and enquired on this. OCI and passport surrender cannot be applied at same time going forward. Looks like this decision was taken last week

I had it with me.. just incase to show if they asked for one. but they didn't.. instead they advised to keep the COPR safe which will be of use incase of applying for Government jobs etc
