Any update?
Unfortunately no updates. Although, I did read this article "Canada on track to meet ambitious 2021 immigration target, minister says" https://beta.ctvnews.ca/national/politics/2021/8/13/1_5546419.html I might be reading too much between the lines but may be theres still some hope for us. I think they should be clearing out the backlog before they start processing the applications in the new entry (TR to PR). Rest, god knows whats going to happen. @legalfalcon any views about this theory?

Canada shifted its focus and pretty much anyone in Canada was invited to apply for PR under the TR to PR. Also, the CEC score went to as low as 75.

TR to Pr files should be cleared by the end of next year.

I lost hopes, demanded withdrawing my FSW-Inland to switch to a CEC-Inland, all my CEC friends received their PR card within anything from 9 months to 4 months.

I feel your frustration! It’s pretty clear our batch is waiting while they move so fast with the new CEC inland applications that are coming in and coming out.

You do not have to worry. If your meds were sent for reassessment, they will be updated soon.
I just received my latest set of GCMS notes and on August 22nd the following was added :

IME Reassessment has been granted and a new medical certificate with a validity of 12 months has been issued in GCMS. Should the applicant not land before the expiry of the medical, a new IME will be required. Please pickup this IME number again in order to update the medical validity on the application.
I can see my medical validity date has been extended in the notes, but the status still shows "Pending" for the medicals. Is that because the officer needs to update the overall medical status of the application?
